Business Case

Having now run excellent preliminary assessments, we'll want to build the following:

Market Strategy - The objectives are to identify the target customers and sales channels; translate their needs and desires into specific product's attributes, features, and benefits; Construct the product's market positioning and value proposition; Determine a pricing strategy based on cost, margin, channels, discounts, and value to customer; Identify the sales channels to target; and Build your communications / advertising plan.

Business Case - We'll critically examine the reasons why this project makes sense by considering: market opportunity, risk, and the competitive situation. Additionally, we'll perform a marketing & operations cost analysis and determine the rate of return by using methods such as payback period, net present-value, contribution profit, and estimated commercial value.

Project & Resource Plan - Now we'll create the development plan including a scheduled list of events, tasks, and actions; The human, time, and financial resources needed; Timelines in the form of Gantt charts or critical-path plans; and Defined and measurable milestones to be completed within the development phase. Lastly, we'll establish tentative action and resource plans for the marketing, sales, and operations, then specify an expected product launch date.
