CURRENT PROJECTS WE'RE WORKING ON

OUR CORPORATE BRAND

Our Mission: donating 100% of brand profits to help end hunger in America!

Bigger Table, a nonprofit arm of Chicagoland Food & Beverage Network, is helping the food insecure by creating a high-protein, low-sugar chocolate meal replacement mix with 19,800 pounds of donated ingredients. The non-profit launched in March 2020.

MEAL REPLACEMENT MIX TO FIGHT FOOD INSECURITY

Bigger Table got input from the companies donating, in addition to the food banks and pantries, and developed a plan for the 250,000 servings of Chocolate Protein Beverage Mix. Then, Bigger Table worked with each of the companies to secure their donation and distribute the Chocolate Protein Beverage Mix through the Chicagoland-area food banks and food pantries. CRYSTALIZED EGGS

This technology allows us to create individual servings for those in need. The egg-crystalization technology is a patented process that allows for as shelf-stable product that delivers all the nutrients of 2 whole eggs.

Each serving is a packette sized 2 ounce serving. Egg crystals are mixed in a bowl with water and heated.

This is a new way to deliver real nutrition globally to those in need.

SURVIVAL TABS

A full-days nutrition in a tasty, chewable tablet. We have re-purposed this brand for use in food-bank and emergency situations.

Scientists Create a Material That Makes Salty Water Safe to Drink in Minutes

Water Desalination

Technology that can convert salty seawater or brackish water into safe, clean drinking water has the potential to transform millions of lives across the globe, which is why so many scientists are busy working on projects to do just that.

Now, a new innovation developed by scientists in Australia could be the most promising one yet, with researchers using metal-organic framework compounds (or MOFs) together with sunlight to purify water in just half an hour, using a process that's more efficient than existing techniques.

It's cheap, it's stable, it's reusable, and it produces water that meets the World Health Organisation (WHO) standards for desalination. Around 139.5 litres (nearly 37 gallons) of clean water can be produced per day from a kilogram (2.2 pounds) of MOF material, based on early testing.

After just four minutes of exposure to sunlight, the material releases all of the salt ions it's soaked up from the water, and is ready to be used again. The team behind the new process says it provides several upgrades over existing desalination methods. READ MORE HERE..
